The Universidad de Montevideo was born international. Since its inception, scholars across the world have come to deliver innovative programs, providing new insights into Uruguayan education.

Having signed its first international partnership in 1991, the University continues to build a vast network of collaboration with first class universities worldwide.

• The School of Engineering signed an agreement in May 2020 to become the first and only member of the Microsoft Quantum Network–Curriculum Partnership in Latin America.
